Motorbike transport across Scotland
Bladespeed runs scheduled weekly motorbike transport between Scotland and the rest of mainland UK, from a base at Unit 5 Uffington Trading Estate, Oxfordshire (SN7 7QD). Edinburgh and Glasgow are on the weekly schedule via the A1 and M74 corridors; Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness and the Borders run regularly with a little more notice.
How often does Bladespeed run to Scotland?
Bladespeed runs weekly into and out of central Scotland. The A1 corridor reaches Edinburgh via Yorkshire and Newcastle; the M74 corridor reaches Glasgow via the M6 and the Lake District. Aberdeen and Dundee come off the central belt on the A90; Inverness sits at the top of the A9. Each Scottish postcode is assigned a scheduled collection day on one of these corridors.

Edinburgh and the Lothians
The capital sits on the weekly northbound A1 corridor. Pickups and deliveries across Edinburgh and the surrounding Lothians are slotted into the standard schedule. Off-schedule slots are bookable at a transparent surcharge.

Dundee, Perth and Fife
Central Scotland east of Stirling. The Forth crossings put Dundee, Perth, St Andrews, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline within easy reach of the weekly route.

Inverness and the Highlands (mainland)

On the natural route between England and the central belt. Galashiels, Hawick, Dumfries and Stranraer are covered weekly.

- Edinburgh ↔ Yorkshire — A1 corridor, weekly.
- Bristol ↔ Glasgow — M5/M6/M74, weekly.
- Aberdeen ↔ Edinburgh — A90 onward to A1, regular.
- Oxfordshire ↔ Inverness — combined run with central belt deliveries, by notice.

- Newcastle ↔ Edinburgh — A1, weekly (short return leg of the London run).
What about the Scottish islands?
Mainland Scotland is on the weekly schedule. For the Western Isles, Orkney, Shetland and the Inner Hebrides, the standard offer is collection or delivery to the relevant mainland ferry terminal — you (or the receiving party) handles the ferry leg. We can quote the ferry leg too on request, but it routes as a manual quote rather than the instant calculator.
